Marina is a director, maker and performer, educated at ESAC (Brussels, 2016-2019) and ENC (Montreal, 2014-2016). She develops her solo projects as well as collaborations, notably with the companies Les Argonauts and Petri Dish, where she recently took on the role of co-artistic director alongside Anna Nilsson.
At the intersection of contemporary circus, dance, and physical theater, Marina's work – both in its processes and its performances – is a constant search for disorientations: those of the body, identities, and social structures. These conceptual notions are articulated with a passion for research based on raw movement, often tinged with a grotesque air. By pushing physicality to its limits, she explores margins and invites the audience to inhabit liminal zones.
Marina also holds a degree in philosophy from the University of London (2022).
